ROYALEFAM has added a brand-new section on their website to showcase the works of other promising sneaker customizers.

The Curated Artists program features selected artists and provides a platform for them to create designs for SBTG that will be showcased on the ROYALEFAM website. These artists will be hand-picked from the ever-growing pool of local and international talent, including established customizers and successful graduates from the SBTG Academy.

The intention of the program is to give up-and-coming young artists greater exposure under the ROYALEFAM label and promote sneaker customization as a viable career for budding customizers and DIY fiends.

The first featured artist is Pras. Pras is recently-graduated SBTG Academy intern Ivan Prasetya who spent 5 months training intensively under the tutelage of SBTG. Pras’ collection for SBTG is available now, only at www.royalefam.com

Nike Sportswear has just release another Blazer Mid that will has grown in popularity amongst sneakerheads around the globe.  The kicks feature an all black leather upper sitting on an all white vulcanized sole with a blue trim around the midsole.

Always have to love the collaborations that come out of Adidas Originals Consortium series. The fine work that is put into these sneakers are subtle and stiking at the same time. This collaboration includes four cities and and the shops that occupy that area: UNDFTD / L.A. Trainer, Sole Service / Oslo, Solebox / Berlin and Bodega / Boston. Theres not shoe that over powers the rest just pure quaility of material and product. The series will be available to select Adidas Consortium retailers this October.

The Thriller: Honoring a legend

For the second chapter of Varsity Bones, SBTG pays tribute to a
legendary pop culture icon. Inspired by MJ in his famous red leather
jacket from “Thriller” one of the greatest videos of all time.

In 1983, MJ smashed through the boundaries of music videos as we knew
it with 14 minutes of sheer genius. It’s been 26 years now and
watching the video still sends shivers down our spine.

“Your body starts to shiver/For no mere mortal can resist/The evil of
the thriller”

Departing from the usual Dunk canvas, The Thriller Blazer features a
leather jacket sewn in clean luxurious lines with studded collars,
black satin, and geometric contrasts with a zipper baseline.

BRMC is an intense mix of locks and chains, denim rivets, gang patches
and zippers on quilted linings, and animal fur.

Souped-up Cruisers, biker jackets, customized leather, and classic motorcycle culture. The look of Black Rebel Motorpsycho Club consists
of locks and chains, denim rivets, gang patches, zippers,quilted linings, and animal fur.

The answer might involve a lot of cut and sew with studs, clean lines for a look of luxury, geometric shapes, jacket collar flaps, quilted
satin, and a zipper baseline for punch.

While I was enjoying the Jay-Z concert on Fuse the other day and noticed those fly kicks on his feet. Well, I do have confirmation about the sneaker comapny and model. Radii Footwear have been out for a minute and have done multiple collabs and have such Artist like Black Eyed Peas, Flo-Rida and Travis from Gym Class Heroes rocking their kicks. Not really impressed by that shit because the sneakers are nice either way and the colorways are sick. All the kicks in the 420 Top line use a combonation of material and feature multiple straps and one piece soles. You’ll catch most of these on the Radii Footwear on their site and available thorough retailers around the states.

Asics is one of the O.G. sneaker companies bringing these two hot kicks with collaboration with Gettry, a japanese retailer. The Procourt Sidekick pack includes two sneaks featuring all yellow soles, single strap and yellow accents. Both Red/Green(not Jamaican) and Black/Black sneakers have a combonation upper of patent leather and leather. These kicks are not out but are availabe for pre-order at Gettry.

Ladies, if you’re looking for some new sneaks then take a look at what Creative Recreation has in store for you this fall. Theres a lot of differents silohouettes and even more crazy colorways that will grab hold of anyone checking your kicks. A few of these sneaks may seem a little bold for some but theres also two casual and everyday functional pairs that will suit your needs. Colorways range from hot pink, yellow, black, burgundy and purple with the patent or matte leather black accents. Bobby Fresh is re-releaseing two of their top selling shirts out in two new colorways. The first is the “Lick My Kicks” tee with “Mr.Super Tongue” himself, Gene Simmons, licking on some Air Jordan XIs. The second shirt is the “Addicted to Fresh” tee with Jay-Z featuring the print “Fresh” on his shades. Both shirts will now be available in the new black or white print.
