Air Jordan Silver Anniversary Collection

I’m not a big fan of all white kicks( or parties for that matter) but the Air Jordan Silver Anniversary Collection is starting to grow on me. The entire collection includes Air Jordan 1s down to the Air Jordan 2010. There could have been a few pairs left out of this collection in my opinion but that would’ve defeat the purpose of this “WhiteOut”. Let me tell you now, theres going to be plenty of fights if you step on these sneaks. You have been warned. The collection is set to be released early 2010 so, stock up on cleaner.

Jordan 60 Plus “Boston Celtics”

In November we will see the release of the Jordan Sixty Plus “Boston Celtics” sneakers of the same collection. Way back in April 20, 1986, Michael Jordan dropped 63 points on the Celtics in a Game 2 playoff game at their Boston Garden. I want to remind some of you that this is a “hybrid” sneaker like the other 60+ models feathering the elements of the Air Jordan 2, 3, 5 and 7s. All of the sneakers which he had ridiculous performances in. These feature the Boston Celtics colorway on a white leather base with the heel panel constructed from black patent leather. Also you’ll see the 23 on the rear, a clear undersole with green details and the Air Jordan Logo on the tongue. Wish it had more green.

Nike Air Yeezy Doernbecher Charity

As of today, the auction for the exclusive Air Yeezy’s wore by Kanye West at the 50th Grammy Awards, is around the 3500 dollar mark on ebay. Nike Sportwear and the artist donated the pair to the Doenbecher Charity. The upper is black with leather and suede front featuring its signature glow-in-the-dark sole. Also, the Air Yeezy, with Air Jordan VI tooling, is at the 5 stacks mark on ebay as well. These pair went from $1.00 to $5,000.00 in less than 48 hours. The auctions will end on September 19 at 7:30pm. Serious sneakerheads must apply only.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High – “School Daze” pack

Spike Lee and Jordan brand has collaborated again to bring you some kicks just in time for the new school year. This time getting inspiration from one of Spike Lee’s joints, School Daze. One of the sneaks actually rocks the purple yellow and white from the very same movie poster( you should remember)with a strap. Also, adding more to the school theme, the swoosh uses a varsity patch material to complete the look. The other sneaker has no strap, a leather swoosh and gets its colors from the fraternity, Gamma Phi Gamma, featured in the movie. This pack will surely sell out quickly when they drop soon.

Project Bluefoot Intelligent Design Competition – Air Jordan XXV (25) – Finalists

The fifteen finalist for the Project Bluefoot Intelligent Design competition have been chosen for the designs on the upcoming Air Jordan XXV. Some of the designers are first timers, as well a mix of veterans, have come from all around the world to showoff their final concepts for the brand. Judges for the event include Jordan Brand’s own Jason Mayden and D’Wayne Edwards, who had to pick through many different sketches and concepts to bring you the final fifteen. Michael Jordan into the Hall of Fame

Well, if you guys haven’t heard yet, one of our biggest icons in the streetwear game, as well as an NBA Legend, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame September 11th, 2009. Now, as some of you might know me, I am an all around sports fan and admire the legacy Michael Jordan has left in world of basketball. But no other athlete in history has contributed more to the sneaker game than this man. Because of this man, you are not rockin Hakeem Olajuwon’s or Sam Bowie’s (check ya history). Not to hate on these guys but Jordan was destined to land at his position and wreck much havoc to his opponents. His Air Jordan sneakers are also released on a timely manner and cause people of all ages to stay up hours and risk personal and professional backlash at the result of buying said shoe. I mean its something about the love for these kicks, that we who love them, can’t explain. Mr. Jordan has achieved so many accolades that it would take a book to catalog such deeds. So, with his first nomination, or should i say automatic bid, he is voted in. I will be watching and hope, those of you who appreciate his legacy on the court and admire his brand on the streets, will be watching too. He will be inducted along wit David Robinson and John Stockton on 9/11 on what looks to be another great moment.

Today my cousin came over and wanted to go online and buy himself
some “gucci jordans”? i can not allow that shit to happen. i mean, who wants to spend their hard earned money on fraudulant sneakers for the sake of being fashionable. this is one of the missteps that has occured in the culture of streetwear. since day one, sneakers are the
number one item to compliment and complete the style of anyone and everyone. so I asked my cousin “what the fuck are you thinking?”.

“only a clown would believe wrapping Gucci fabric around knockoff Js could ever be cool. And if you use real Air Jordan Number XIII (OG) Lows, which already come in a beautiful colorway of White/Black, True Red and Peral Grey, you should be publicly stoned as soon you step out the house”. all that was my basic rant to my cousin to make him understand the error of his ways. Maybe somebody doesn’t need to stone you though, i may walk pass you one day with reals ones on and make you make you fall to shame of an OG. but hey, thats my two cents.
