Streetwear: Junk Fuel

On Saturday, I had the privilege to meet an aspiring young designer/skateboarder by the name of Reggie Forde. Reggie may seem like your average 15 year old, but you might want to think again. With his passion for boarding and streewear he is intent to bring his label, Junk Fuel, to the world. The basic idea for the label was inspired one day while eating at a local fastfood spot back in may of 2008, eating junk food of course. The name as he explains ” Basically represents the people out there who get a boost after eating junk food to fuel them through any activity”. Who can’t relate to that? The designs range from burgers, sodas and other snacks placed on tees and boards. Reggie has his hands in every aspect of his label but has a great supporting staff in his family and friends that contribue to his success. He believes in the brand and wants to expand the line-up for future releases to include accessories: socks and laces for now. Shops from around the country are already hitting this kid up to stock up on his products. Now that his label is a year older, Reggie wants to expand his reach overseas to Dubai and establish a one-of-a-kind skate shop in a area that is lacking such retailers. What 15 year old is doing that? Show your support and love for the brand by heading to the Junk Fuel web store and view his entire collection.

Your designs are fabulous, very creative and I think You are going to be a sucess. It is great to see young people putting their talent and mind to use. You are an inspiration, gifted and truly blessed. Lots of love and sucess.
Go Reggie!
Great idea you should continue to pursue your dream you are an excellent role model for young teens and adults who have ideas and want to put them to good use. You are brave and courageous to take that leap from thought to actual products. We are behind you 100%.
Keep up the good work. Reggie is a Miramar resident so that makes me extra proud…

This story is like whoa!!! Who is this young man? My kids are so impressed by the designs as well as his age this just blew us away, now I can not only say to my kids (if you believe it you can achieve it) they see it so to them this brings it home. This young man with all the confidence that’s instilled in him will take him along way. To know that he is a product of this town make’s me very proud.
