This morning we got an email from 10. Deep with their Fall 2009 preview. The Proud to bea Problem collection is set to release sometime next week and salutes the losers, outcasts, miscreants, naysayers, and problem children who drive change in our culture. HUF offer a preview of their upcoming seasonal collection for Fall 2009. As we’ve grown accustomed to seeing, the San Francisco-based brand continues their cut-and-sew arrangements with a steady flow of outerwear, button-down plaids, denim, headwear, and the always popular graphic t-shirt selections. A good potion of delivery 1 is due to arrive within the coming weeks at HUF’s SF and LA flagship locations.

Heres a new fall 2009 lookbook from In4mation, guys that know a little something about streetwear. On wednesday i got a call from Sean McKenzie to show me his second season of UpScene. Sean founded the clothing line and launched his brand to the massesin 2008 selling to boutiques in New York. “One of the first places i got to sell my pieces was in a art gallery which was funny” he explained. he believes that much of his brand, that they are art pieces. his designs are really proof of his work to bring a product that reflects the people that wears it.

Today i would like to introduce you to BlackGrapes. Bo and Gee are the founders of the BlackGrape clothing line based out of the Bay Area, San Francisco. with the influences of the skateboard culture, underground music and graffit art, the BlackGrape was established from the streets. Kiwi streetwear label Federation is streetsmart at exporting these days.
Five years ago when the company started sending its clothes to the US it offered credit to all its retail customers and learned the hard way. In some cases they waited up to a year to be paid, chief executive Nick Clegg says, “and in a few instances not at all”.

Puma North America has named Blue Water Design Group, a division of Apparel Ventures Inc., the official licensee of its swimwear and beachwear for women in the US market.
Blue Water, which already acts as a swim licensee for several fashion brands, will be responsible for the design, merchandising, sales and marketing of the collection.

Christian Audigier has confirmed plans to showcase Ed Hardy and related lifestyle brands at MAGIC Marketplace this August.
The news comes as a surprise after Audigier’s departure from Project a little over a year ago and the launch of Audigier’s own Las Vegas showcase called “When I Move You Move.”

Nike has unveiled three new footwear styles combining influences from the street and the brand’s heritage.
“It’s about bringing superior craftsmanship to these new shapes and new forms.” says Senior Product Merchandiser Marco Murillo of the Hi-Jack, Air Offense and Air Zenyth. “These are new shoes influenced by past models with color combinations and crafted materials not yet used on any other design.”
