If you guys are like me, you have a collection of figures of some kind at your work. I say its all for artistic inspiration not playing around like one of my nephews tried to do when he comes around. Well, Ducobi is taking that artistic inspiration to another level with their new Artisan collection release. The Glow-in-the-Dark and Multicolor figures stand at 4-inches and features a mystery accessory, stickers, and mini marker. Peabe Artwork

Born and raised in Chicago and now living in Oakland, CA, Peabe began drawing during his early stages of
development. The characters he creates, an embodiment of his emotional peaks, were heavily influenced by the
“cattle to the slaughterhouse” train riders who often appear “zombie-esque” during their commute. However,
occasionally a passenger would awaken to something beautiful around them – he worked on capturing this moment of
enlightenment emerging from melancholy, while still bringing forth the art, texture, colors, and beauty of the city.

His first solo show was the grand opening of the Rotofugi gallery in Chicago. The show was a huge success and his
work has now been featured in many other galleries, publications and even documentaries.

Now living in California, Peabe’s work has been inspired and has evolved with the chill and relaxed attitude of the Bay
Area art scene. With greater expressive strokes and breaking out of comfort zones, he is taking a little more time to
explore the direction and style of his pieces. So keep an eye out for Peabe’s sexy, zombified work and be sure to
catch one of his many upcoming shows

Well, I know this is not graffiti or streetart but is still pretty cool. This is great collaborative effort between Bonyurt and paintball gunners depicting the famous artwork of Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe.

Mr. BONKS & RASK came by 33third los angeles / 33third.com and did a Montana Paint demo using blackline and goldline cans to do a full wall production. The day turned into a production/bbq/montana paint demo with a nice turnout of friends and people to check out the production in progress and the Montana Paint.

Shepard Fairey x Michael Jordan Poster Series

Tomorrow will be wonderful day with the induction of Michael Jordan going into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. To commemorate this event, iconic graffiti artist and founder of the Obey brand, Shepard Fairey, has created a poster of Jordan in one of his iconic poses. Fairey is said to be producing a series dedicated to those many moments that Jordan has captured breaths at times in his artistic view.

MQ x MTN x UP: Artist Cans

Upper Playground and Montana Colors is releasing a second can in their MTN xUp Limited Edition series of cans. This collaborative project will present cans for hardcore fans by four legendary bombers. The second can features works by graffiti legend, MQ.

Angelo Lospinuso from Montana Colors says “somebody may not agree with me, but I think MQ represents the original essence of graffiti, bombing, destroying, getting up, being infamous from the East to the West. It’s not politically correct for me to say that…. but who cares? I love this idea of graffiti and I pay the maximum respect for MQ! It’s an honor to have a dedicated Limited Edition by this timeless Bomber.”

Also, Mr. Cartoon’s can is available as well at Upper Playground retail stores and online on the Upper Playground web store.
